With the situations in the world today.

What do you think about where we are in relation to Jesus coming again/Rapture?

flaglady

I'd say it was close but that implies a time line and I don't think God's time line bears any comparison to ours!

Renee

I say. Come quickly Lord Jesus.
THE DEFINITION OF REVIVAL

1. Falling in love with Jesus all over again

2. Having the Joy of your salvation restored

It sure seems like it has to be very close, but all generations are supposed to think that. It does seem like we have more reasons than previous generations. Israel occupies some of the promised land again, and that is a huge indicator.
I used to worry and stress and strive to "do my part," never believing that I had done enough of "my part."  Now I see my part as casting it off on Him, doing what I believe He is giving me, and letting it just be His problem.  I don't have to fix everything, but I get to work along side of God.

Have to be honest, I've always been confused about the Israel/Palestine thing.

jiminpa

Not that I have all the answers, but what confuses you about it, Jo?

Who are the goodies and who are the baddies?
Which country has the Jews and which the Arabs.

I've been told more than once but I can't seem to remember it!

jiminpa

the Jews are the descendants of Israel/Jacob. The Palestinians are Arabs and mostly muslim and their governing body is one of the largest terrorist organization there is.

I did a spot of Googling about this. I found this on the Huffington Post - probably not the most reliable source but it answered a lot of my questions.

That was amazingly truthful, which is the opposite of usual for The Huffington Post.

I would peg the chances of Jesus return in any of our lifetimes as not very likely.  We do have a better chance than other generations have now, but Ijust dont see it happening anytime soon.

Interesting theory about the day is as a thousand years.  The Jewish Calendar this year is at 5778 which some use to speculate that when that thing hits 6000 we could see the return of Jesus for the 1000 reign.  That is still a good 200 years ahead.
All glory to him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by shedding his blood for us.  He has made us a Kingdom of priests for God his Father. All glory and power to him forever and ever! Amen.

Well, not a rapture person here so I cannot speak to that.
How from from the start of the seals opening?
Some say they already started in the last century. Some suggest WW 1 was the start.
Israel is back, so we are closer. I feel the antichrist spirit is here in strength. I think what we are seeing in the world today is the spirit of the anti christ on the rise. The hate against Christians, the church, righteousness, the Word, and the church is certainly palpable.
