The future of HGO. Should we continue?

Hello everyone,

Well, it's time to make a decision. I know that traffic has been incredibly slow on this forum, but I also know that there are still a handful of people that really enjoy the site. As I've said in the past, I am happy to continue to support HGO so long as we have donors to cover the nominal hosting fees.

The time has come to renew our hosting. We must decide before January 22 if the bill is going to be paid for the next 6 months or if it is time to close the virtual doors here. If we have users willing to donate the $50, I'll happily keep HGO humming along, but I'll leave that up to you.

To anyone and everyone who has participated in the forum and especially those that have donated to keep us online over the years, I want to sincerely say thank you for allowing me to provide this ministry to you. Regardless of whether we keep going or not, it has been my honor and privilege to provide on oasis of His grace to you these past 10+ years.

I'm not quite ready to see this site discontinue.
I used to worry and stress and strive to "do my part," never believing that I had done enough of "my part."  Now I see my part as casting it off on Him, doing what I believe He is giving me, and letting it just be His problem.  I don't have to fix everything, but I get to work along side of God.

Well, it looks like we'll be online for at least another 6 months! The bill has been paid, so thank you once again for your continued support of HGO.

Retired recently (a couple years ago) and so kind of got lost in a lot of area. We moved back home and are still struggling to get back to a home atmosphere. I found HGO again and will try to participate.
Thanks for being patient and faithful.

Hey Pete... Don't mean to get into your business, but do you need some $ to keep the lights on.
Let me know.

My goodness gracious me! I just checked and the last post in here is dated Jan 11th! I mean - that's six weeks ago. Not pointing any fingers as I'm just as much to blame. Guess we really have come to the end of the line with our precious Oasis. sob, sob.

Been hanging around. Hoping to see some action.  :tt2:

I'm not good at carrying the conversation, but if there are posts I can respond. I mostly check here when things are slow at work.

I still love you folks and like when we can stay in touch, but it has dwindled to almost no one.

Of course working at responses did get my into a bit of trouble a few months ago.

I actually just got normal banned from CF because I used the common term "Trump Derangement Syndrome."
They have gone SJW, PC on us.

Yeah, I keep giving that place a chance and it keeps reminding me why that's not the smart thing to do, but I keep right on beating my head against that same wall.

I'll bet I could start some lively discussion. Anyone game? ;)
