Okay so I have signed up to do a TESOL (Teaching English to Students of Other Languages) course and this one is done on line.  So when I try to put in my username and password it isn't recognising them but in the area where you put them there is a thing in brackets that says "cookies must be enabled in your browser"

1. What does this mean?

2. How would I check if they are enabled?

3. If they are not enabled how would I enable them?

I don't have a techie explanation but in firefox I go to Tools>Options>Privacy> and the check the box for Accept Cookies and thrid party cookie to activate mine. I think they are basically something that used to save your web history and allow sites to capture your information and keep it for things such as automatic logins and saving where you left on something like an online course.
