Hi all,

I am three sermons into this four part series on OVERCOMING TOUGH TIMES.

The actor Gregory Peck said "tough times never last, but tough people do".  In this series preached in May 2010, Benjamin will share with you personal and Biblical secrets of how to deal with the tough times in your life. Disappointments, persecution, rejection, monotony, change - all these things can take us from God.  In these messages, learn how to let tough times push you closer to God and to your destiny.

Most people in the church have said this is real inspiring stuff, I hope it blesses some of you!

Blessings,
Ben

Hey Heather,

The final message is overcoming persecution and might be relevant for some of what you are going through!  Am preparing it now...

Daughter of the King

Just listened to part one - excellent stuff! Noticed part 4 was about persecution, sounds very relevant. Will be eager to hear what God has to say through you. Thanks so much for sharing in this way.

As usual, very inspiring - have to finish it tomorrow - gotta run now.

Thanks again for all your inspiration.

It is a great solution, but it can only be done ONCE!

Why?????

There's like TEN THOUSAND (probably a lot more) nukes in the world.

Each ICBM can deliver like 25 INDIVIDUAL warheads.

I think there's plenty.

EDIT: Ok fine.

I'll just use the Ion Cannon. Its rechargeable and doesn't leave fallout, so its enviornmentally friendly!:

I had assumed that an orbital nuke in JTM3's world is an atomic device that will incinerate the entire planet several times over.

It wasn't that I was concerned that you would run out of nukes, but that you would run out of planet!

OH...

I meant your average tactical nuke.

No reason to esplode the planet for one problem.

Have you boys been watching too much of The Fifth Element?
Embraced by the loving arms of the Father....

I have never watched the Fifth Element.

I am however a big Doctor Who geek...

My good friend is a die hard fan of Doctor Who.  She's tried to explain, but i would have to see to understand.

The Fifth Element was way before it's time, one of the only sci-fi movies I like.
Embraced by the loving arms of the Father....

Terry Pratchett said this month that Doctor Who isn't sci-fi, but fantasy.  A wise old man with a magic box that lets him go anywhere and anytime with a magic wand that lets him open doors, detect evil and fix broken things.

That sums it up almost perfectly.

I saw that a long time ago. Dumb movie IMO.

I'll leave you to argue your case for that one... good luck!

Sort of.  If you kill him or he gets too old he can regenerate all of his cells, which not only makes him young fit and mighty again, and slightly changes his personality, but makes him look exactly like a different actor is playing him as well.  Remarkable.

The current doctor is the 11th incarnation of the doctor, it has been going since 1963!
