So what to discuss when there is nothing here to discuss?
As I write these lines, I realise that, all too often, my intent has been on the discussing God and His principles, rather than necessarily on implementing and living them. My life is changing, but how much quicker would that be if first I changed my focus?
Just a thought I had.
That's quite a question, Foadle, and one I've struggled with endlessly! If you ever find an answer, do please let us know!
I think a large part of the answer is in the question: we need to be living what we already know, not just talking about it. There is nothing wrong with talking about what we know, Jesus did so. But how much are we inculcating what we know and learn into our every day lives. Jesus lived what He taught and spoke about. Recently I have become aware that more often than not I talk about things, but don't actively seek to live them. That is my problem in a nutshell.
Hm, that's a very good and wise response.
Any wisdom in that must be of God...I'm just the one being challenged ;)
