I was wondering if anyone here knows anything about or has had any experience with Craftmaster furniture. I'm asking because last night, Sarah and I put a deposit on a corner sectional for the living room so we could think about it over the weekend, and we have to let them know Monday if we want it or not. If we tell them we want it, then they'll deliver it on Wednesday.
In my searches on the Internet, I've discovered that Craftmaster is based out of North Carolina and they do manufacture the furniture there, but in 2006 they we bought out by a company named "Lacquer Craft" based out of China, which is owned by a conglomerate based in the Cayman Islands! Gives whole new meaning to the phrase "Made in the USA".
Also, I was only able to find about a half dozen or so negative reviews online, and about as many positive reviews.
The sectional we saw in the store is the one we would get, since it's their last one, and it was on clearance. We looked it over pretty thoroughly and we didn't see anything wrong with it, and it didn't show any signs of wear or use.
Anyway, if anyone knows anything or has had any experience with Craftmaster furniture, I'd appreciate your input.
Also, if anyone knows anything about furniture construction in general, if you could look at this page (http://www.cmfurniture.com/our-quality.asp
) which explains how their frames are built and tell me what you think, I'd appreciate that too.
